Best Pistols for Warzone x BOCW
What's up everybody? Hope you all are doing just fine. Today we will be discussing the best pistols in COD: Warzone. Let's just jump straight to it.
X16
If it isn't the starter weapon for every battle royale matches: The X16. The X16 is a lightweight .45 ACP powered handgun that has an astounding fire rate and a significantly more amount of bulllets compared to the 1911. This gun is also a starter weapon for your loadout. Maximum level for this weapon is 34. The X16 comes with a moderate recoil, which is not really THAT worrying since this weapon is semi auto, and a pretty good hip fire accuracy. Like all handguns/pistols, the X16 comes with the "Akimbo" perk which lets you to carry a handgun on each hand. To unlock the Akimbo perk on the X16, you have to get 3 kills in 5 different matches with the "sleight of hand" perk equipped, which is pretty easy considering that the "sleight of hand" perk increases your reload speed.
I actually recommend the "akimbo" setup as you would normally go up close with the enemy when you are using pistols so for that, I recommend this setup:
Trigger Action: Lightweight Trigger
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: 26 Round Mags
Perk: Akimbo
This setup is useful for taking down people swiftly and silently within a close range. The Lightweight Trigger increases the fire rate by 76% but sacrifices aiming stability for faster fire rate. the aiming stability doesn't matter though as we can't aim down sights with the "akimbo" perk equipped. The bigger magazine allows you to take down enemies freely without worrying of how many bullets you have left. All of the handgun setups I will be showing you today, except for the .357 revolver, has the same setups as this one. Overall, this setup is amazing and is always fun to use especially when you really want to upset a lot of players with this setup.
M19
A recent superstar handgun, the M19 is a semi-automatic 9mm Parabellum pistol with excellent recoil control and a staggering fire rate. This handgun can be unlocked at level 37 with a maximum level of 34. The M19 is a handgun that can be very menacing when used by an experienced player paired with the "akimbo" perk. For this weapon, the "akimbo" perk can be unlocked by getting 3 kills in 5 different matches with the "Frangible Wounding" perk equipped.
Like I said, this weapon is best with the "akimbo" perk equipped so I recommend you grinding this weapon to level 30 to get this "akimbo" perk. Without further ado, this is my favourite setup for the M19:
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Trigger Action: Lightweight Trigger
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: 32 Round Mags
Perk: Akimbo
This is practically the same gun that annoyed me in some matches. I usually find people who use these are those sweaty Roze skin players. Anyways, for this weapon, you will need the biggest magazine you can find: The 32 Round Mags. The fire rate in this setup is crazy fast that before you know it, you'll be a sitting duck while you reload. Overall, if you want to cause chaos on the battlefield, this is the weapon.
.357 Revolver

This is the weapon that shook the battlefield with its .38 Snake Shot rounds. Some may even call it a broken gun. Since it got out of hand, IW (Infinity Ward, the video game developer) decided to nerf the .357's Snake Shot ammunition by reducing the damage range and, to balance it out, they buffed the trigger action when you use the Lightweight Trigger and the Match Grade Trigger
This weapon is can be unlocked at level 21 and can be upgraded up to level 41. If you want to get the "akimbo" perk, you have to get 3 kills in 5 different matches with the "recon" perk equipped. So if you want to experience the ex-broken gun, you have to get it to at least level 34.
Nevertheless, the Akimbo Snake Shots are still fun to use despite having a shorter damage range. Like most people, this is what I go with for the .357 Akimbo Snake Shots:
Barrel: .357 Long
Trigger Action: Lightweight Trigger
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: Snake Shot
Perk: Akimbo
So if you're wondering what does the Snake Shot do. It basically turns this revolver into a tiny shotgun. Yes, that is totally legal for this thing to do that. Note that this weapon only has 6 bullets. Add the other gun on your other hand, assuming you have the "Akimbo" perk equipped, you have 12 bullets at your disposal. My advice: Don't rush people with this weapon.
Renetti
Another broken gun, the Renetti is powered by your old pal, the 9mm Parabellum. This gun is unlocked at tier 15 of the season 3 battle pass. If you haven't unlocked this handgun yet, you can unlock this gun by getting 2 headshot kills in 15 different matches with a pistol. This gun can be upgraded all the way to level 46, with the Mk3 Burst Mod at level 46 and, of course, the "Akimbo" perk challenge. You can unlock the "akimbo" perk by getting 3 kills in 5 different matches with the "Mo'Money" perk equipped.
This weapon is fun to use. Wether it is in its burst mod or the factory issue semi-auto mode. These are the setups that I recommend for the Renetti:
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Mk3 Burst Mod
Trigger Action: Lightweight Trigger
Laser: 5mW Laser
Perk: Akimbo
This setup lacks that essential extended ammo mod so if you wan to, you can swap the Monolithic Suppressor for the 27 Round Mags like the one in this picture:

Next up, we have the semi-auto setup:
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Trigger: Lightweight Trigger
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: 27 Round Mags
Perk: Akimbo
This setup is actually quite ammo conservative and very accurate in my opinion. Also, this setup is still very powerful down ranges even though you are hip firing it. The damage multiplier for the head is a staggering 2x damage multiplier from the optimal torso damage which is 36.
Diamatti
Finally, for the real broken gun: The Diamatti. This gun is basically an older version of the Renetti, minus the semi-auto mode. This gun has got everyone's attention by being an overpowered handgun for COD: Warzone. This gun can be unlocked at lever 46 and has a maximum level of 35. Unlike the other pistols, the dual wield/akimbo option can be unlocked at the max level of the pistol itself. This weapon has been nerfed by Raven Software by reducing the damage range and increasing the hip fire spread.
This is my recommended setup for the akimbo Diamattis:
Barrel: 7.2" Task Force
Laser: Ember Sighting Point
Ammunition: Salvo 30 Round Fast Mag
Stock: Dual Wield
The Agency Suppressor will increase your recoil control, bullet velocity, effective damage range, and conceals your position in the mini-map. The 7.2" Task Force will increase your damage, effective damage range, and bullet velocity. Finally the Salvo Fast Mags is useful for sticky situations as this attachment increases your reload speed. Overall, this setup is amazing for intense CQC situations and freaking out people.

In conclusion, if you really want a pistol that you can use to storm enemy lines, I suggest using the M19. A steady recoil, fast TTK (Time To Kill), and an accurate hip fire will help you in dominating the battlefield.
Well, I guess that's all for today's post. I will see you on the next post where we'll be discussing the best LMGs for COD: Warzone x COD: BOCW. Ciao!
