Best COD: MW Shotguns For Warzone x BOCW

 


    What's up everybody? Hope you all are doing just fine. Today we will be discussing the best COD: MW shotguns in COD: Warzone. Let's just jump straight to it.


Origin 12 Shotgun


    We'll start up with everyone's most hated shotgun: The Origin 12. Who doesn't hate this shotgun? I mean, not only is it a semi-auto shotgun, you could literally add a 25 round drum mag to this weapon! Anyways, this weapon can be unlocked at level 31 with a maximum level of 50. The range and the recoil in this weapon is quite average for a shotgun really. The recoil is still controllable. The range and hip fire accuracy in this weapon is not that great in its first few levels. So if you want to "joyfully" use the Origin 12, you will have to grind it all the way up to at least level 44. Usually, the Origin 12 is most useful when it comes to clearing out groups of enemies within a short amount of time. 

    This is the setup that i'm using for my Origin 12 Shotgun:

Barrel: FORGE TAC Impaler
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: 25 Round Drum Mags
Stock: No Stock
Perk: Sleight of Hand

    I like to call this setup "Spammer" because that's what this gun does: It spams 12-Gauge shotgun shells. The FORGE TAC Impaler increases the damage and tightens the pellet spread. Tighter pellet spread will reduce the damage, but it's all worth it for the extended range. I find the sleight of hand perk to be incredibly useful as this weapon takes an incredibly long time to reload. The reload time at this point will be the determination point of whether you will live, or die to a bunch of angry players (those people have their own reasons to be mad at you). 

R9-0 Shotgun


    Unlocked at level 1 and upgradable up to level 48, the R9-0 is a shotgun that terrors the battlefield now with the new addition of Dragon's Breath Rounds. The R9-0 fires two shots before every rechamber, giving the R9-0 a huge advantage over the other shotguns. The R9-0 can be equipped with 14 of them Dragon's Breath incendiary shells, meaning that this shotgun has the most incendiary shells of all shotguns. The use of the R9-0 saw its rise in season 5 when Activision added the Dragon's breath incendiary shells. 
    
    Now, for the setup:

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: FORGE TAC Sentry
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: Dragon's Breath Rounds
Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

    This setup is useful if you want to play close quarters silently and efficiently. The FORGE TAC Sentry reduces the pellet spread and extends the damage range along with the monolithic suppressor. The 5mW laser increases hip fire accuracy as well as the sprint to fire time, despite compromising your position to enemies because of its high power laser. You can easily unlock the Dragon's Breath Rounds for the R9-0 by getting 10 kills while sliding (yes, it's that easy). Overall, the R9-0 is useful for when you want to ambush a bunch of players trying to sneak their way into your camping spot.

VLK Rogue


    Another well known shotgun in the COD: Warzone community is the VLK Rogue. A small shotgun that packs a punch along with a quick fire rate for a pump shotgun. The VLK Rogue can be unlocked by getting 5 kills with a shotgun with 5 attachments in 15 different matches. This shotgun can be upgraded up to level 51. You can unlock the Dragon's Breath Rounds by getting 3 long shot kills with the Scout Combat Optic class in 3 different matches. This shotgun is much more agile compared to the other shotguns. 

    This is the setup I love to run with the VLK Rogue:

Muzzle: FORGE TAC Marauder
Barrel: 16" Warlord
Laser: 5mW Laser
Ammunition: 8-R Dragon's Breath
Stock: No Stock

    Downsides to the VLK's fire rate and mag capacity is that they run out very quickly. Recoil in this gun is not that bad and the range is pretty good. Overall, this setup is best if you want to get yourself as close up and as personal as you can with the enemy.

Model 680


    Let us have a moment of silence for the OG (Original Gangster) incendiary shotgun: The Model 680 Shotgun. This weapon was the first one to have the Dragon's Breath shells ammo mod. Not the best shotgun there is, but this gun was memorable as it was the first shotgun to bring terror in the battlefield with its Dragon's Breath ammo mod. The Model 680 is unlocked immediately as a starter weapon and can be upgraded all the way up to level 50. The Dragon's Breath Rounds can be unlocked by getting 15 kills shortly after reloading. A 6-round magazine version of the Dragon's Breath is available as the  Dragon's Breath 6-R Mags. This mod can be unlocked by getting 3 long shot kills with a Scout Combat Optic class in 3 different matches.

    This is the setups I run with my Model 680 Shotgun:


"Incinerated" setup:
Muzzle: FORGE TAC Marauder
Underbarrel: XRK Truegrip Tactical
Ammunition: Dragon's Breath 6-R Mags
Laser: 5mW Laser
Stock: No Stock

"Incinerator" setup:
Muzzle: FORGE TAC Marauder
Barrel: XRK 30" Sport
Underbarrel: XRK Truegrip Tactical
Ammunition: Dragon's Breath Rounds
Stock: No Stock

    The Dragon's Breath 6-R Mags automatically gives the Model 680 a custom receiver and a custom barrel, this automatically blocks the barrel mods section of the gunsmith. These setups have their own ups and downs: The "Incinerated" setup has a better mobility and control than the "Incinerator" setup, but it has less range than the "Incinerator" setup. The "Incinerator" setup's reload speed however, is slower than that of the "Incinerated" setup as the "Incinerator" needs to load its shells one by one whereas the "Incinerated" only has load a full magazine. Overall these setups are useful if you want to freak some players out or, just have fun with the old shotgun.

Melee Weapons in Warzone x BOCW

     What's up everybody? Hope you all are doing just fine. Today we will be discussing melee weapons in COD: Warzone.   Let's just jump straight to it. Combat Knife (MW) and Knife (BOCW)     I have to admit, this weapon is actually pretty good at close ranges as it deals quite a lot of damage. That is, if you can get close enough to the enemy. The range is basically average for a melee weapon so you have to get close and personal with this weapon in hand. And no, this is not a weapon for rushing people with.
